Zeeland, the land in the sea

Create your own timelapse
The Dutch province of Zeeland is well known, from leisurely strolls and bike rides and, more recently, from the hit single Zoutelande, a small village in the southeast of the above maps.
Worldwide, the region is renowned from the engineering marvels of the Delta Works, with its large number of dams, dykes, sluices and storm surges protecting the people and valuable nature against floods and shortening the coastline of The Netherlands.
This animation shows Copernicus Sentinel-2 imagery over the Zeeland area, acquired at different times throughout Spring last year.
Thanks to Terrascope's EO browser 'Terraviewer' you too can build your own timelapse animations. Make sure to give it a try!
